Open banking · Scored matching · Review queue
A feed shows you money. Reconciliation tells you whose it was.
Most products connect a bank account and list the transactions. The work is what happens next — matching each payment to the right tenancy and the right period, and knowing when you are not sure.

The pain
What this feature fixes.
Matching payments is somebody's Monday.
A bank line says a name and an amount. Which tenancy, which period, and whether it is full or part is a judgement made by a person, repeatedly, from memory of the reference conventions.
You can describe the arrears but not evidence them.
You know a tenant is three months behind. Producing the ledger that shows exactly which periods, what was expected, what arrived and when is a different and much longer job.
Part payments and split payments break the model.
A tenant pays two-thirds, then the rest a fortnight later, from a different account. Simple matching gives up here, and the exception becomes a manual note nobody else can follow.
How it works
What you get when you turn this on.
- Open banking feeds, with coverage merged across providers rather than capped by one
- CSV import as a fallback, so a bank without open banking support is still reconcilable
- Transactions scored against expected rent periods and auto-matched above a confidence threshold
- Anything uncertain queued for review with suggestions, rather than guessed
- Part payments allocated across periods; deposits matched on a separate pass
- Debits surfaced with a one-click route to creating the expense
- Arrears expressed as a ledger — which period, what was expected, what arrived, when

With and without
The operating-day difference.
Without Evidix
- A list of bank transactions to interpret
- Silent mis-matching when the reference is odd
- Arrears as a number you assert
- A bank that isn't supported means no feed
With Evidix
- Transactions matched to tenancy and period, with confidence
- A review queue for anything below confidence
- Arrears as a ledger you can hand over
- CSV import keeps it reconcilable

Know whose money arrived, and for which month.
And be able to show it, period by period.
